Karol Redline

Quota International of Cambridge, MD

Karol Redline has been a faithful and dedicated member and leader of the Cambridge Quota club for 10 years.

Shortly after joining, Karol accepted a two-year position as club treasurer. She agreed to serve as co-chair of finances for the annual two-day craft fair sponsored by our sister club, Salisbury, and supported by our club. The next year she became the finance chair of this fund-raiser. She was elected the secretary-treasurer for Quota’s 10th District, serving from 2003-2005.

In between her varied duties as treasurer for the club and the district, Karol faithfully supported the Cambridge Club by volunteering for community service projects—drink and food distribution at the Eagleman Triathlon, manning the soda booth at the annual Seafood Fest-I-Val, bell ringing for the Salvation Army, and participating in the semi-annual Highway Clean-Up/Earth Day program.

Karol is a wonderful ambassador for the club in the way she greets and interacts with attendees at the check-out table at the club’s annual silent auction fund-raiser. She attends leadership meetings, district and East Area conferences, and she attended the international convention in Pittsburgh.

Outside of Quota, Karol has held the volunteer position of bookkeeper of finances for the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life for the last eight years. In her professional life, she is the laboratory manager at Dorchester General Hospital and is well respected by her peers and the administration.

Karol Redline is a woman of tremendous leadership and organizational talents. It is her dedication and optimism that make her such a valuable member of Quota and highly deserving of the 2006 Volunteer of the Year Award.
