Grace Myers, Quota International of Paso Robles, CA
Quota International of Paso Robles, CA,
Quota International of Paso Robles and District 33 have been fortunate to have Grace Myers as a member these past 48 years. She has graced our meetings with 44 years of perfect attendance.
Grace has written and maintains the history of Quota International’s District 33, and she is currently serving as the District 33 Parliamentarian. Her familiar warm and engaging smile has been seen at many Quota district and West Area workshops and conferences, as well as at International conventions.
Grace demonstrates the values and commitment to family and community services that she was raised with through her spirited volunteerism in our community. She is an active hospital volunteer at the Twin Cities Hospital and is currently serving as the 2005 co-president. It takes a lot of volunteer hours, a commitment to service, organizational skills, and teamwork to attain this position. Giving of her time and talents to the San Luis Obispo Senior Real Estate Connection, the Paso Robles Senior Center; from working the front desk, assisting seniors, giving classes, performing phone surveys to modeling fashions in fund-raiser fashion shows, Grace is always sharing the spirit of giving.
Born in Texas and living on the Central Coast of California since 18 years of age, Grace, now widowed, was married to Bud Myers for 57 years. She is the mother of four daughters, the grandmother of eight grandchildren, and the great grandmother of eight great grandchildren with two more on the way. Along with running a 1000-acre grain cattle ranch with her husband, Grace was the owner of a ladies dress shop in Paso Robles. Grace enjoys and is always eager to travel whether for family, Quota, or pleasure when not performing her community volunteer work.
Grace has been recognized for her community activities with, certificates, cards notes, newspaper articles, but the one that means most to her is the 2004 Scholarship Recognition presented by the Cuesta College Foundation. The members of QI of Paso Robles consider Grace to be an outstanding Quota member who is dedicated to serving others.
