Ardell Van Mason

Quota International of Santa Fe, NM

Ardell Van Mason has been an active member of Quota International of Santa Fe for 13 years. Described by members as a good friend, Ardell has held the positions of president, vice-president, secretary, and board member, and she has chaired many committees. Ardell is always generous and donates her time as well as products and services from her rental company. Over the years, she has provided tables, chairs, serving trays, cooking pots, catering equipment and utensils, equipment for soda sales, and many other items as needed. She often arranges to have her paid employees deliver the items and remove them after an event. Sometimes Ardell is unable to rent the items to paying customers, because she has reserved them for Quota. She never complains about this or about how much work she personally contributes, although it is substantial. Ardell gladly offers the use of her home and kitchen anytime members need a cozy place to meet. She fully participates in all of the club activities that she can, even though her business is open 7 days a week. Ardell has traveled and lived in foreign countries, where she was also involved in community service, so she has an awareness of and sensitivity to cultural issues. Ardell’s insights are invaluable and the happiness she spreads is infectious. Members of Quota International of Santa Fe feel fortunate to know Ardell and to have her as a member of their club.
