Morean Felzien

Quota International of Sterling, CO

Morean Felzien, a member of Quota International of Sterling since 1973, is always willing to do any behind-the-scenes job there is to be done. She has chaired the “Calling Committee,” organized a “Bridge Marathon,” and was in charge of registration for the District 9 Conference last year. For twenty years, Morean coordinated the income tax aide program for the elderly in northeastern Colorado. She is a twenty-five-year volunteer with the local “Meals on Wheels” program and for the last ten years has served as treasurer of the group. At least weekly she entertains with her accordion and keyboard at a local nursing home and at the Senior Citizens Club. With her love of sharing music, she gave accordion lessons to local youngsters for a number of years. In addition to all of her other activities, Morean also actively participates in church work and is a fifty-year member of the Ladies Guild of First English Lutheran Church.
