Julia Good

Quota International of York, PA

It is often said that if you have something that must be done and done right, give it to the busiest person you know. That person would be Julia Good. Julia’s parents were active volunteers and taught Julia about sharing and reaching out for the betterment of others. She has been a dedicated Quotarian for 32 years, serving in all officer positions and chairing most, if not all, of the club’s committees. She is currently the secretary/treasurer of District 2. Julia serves as a tireless member of Our Daily Bread soup kitchen where she monthly volunteers her services feeding the hungry. She volunteers as a tutor and mentor to inner city children and has sponsored children in Mexico, Guatemala, India, Arkansas and Arizona through the Children International Program. At her church, she teaches Sunday school classes and serves as a chairperson of the Church Council.
