Janet Ellis

Quota International of Rockford, IL

Janet Ellis has been active in Quota for several years. This past year when the treasurer became very ill, Jan volunteered to complete the audit and fulfill the duties of treasurer. She has been on the scholarship board since 1995, is past treasurer for District 22, served as secretary in 2000, and is currently on the 2002-2003 board. For the club’s newest project, “Cops-N-Kids,” Jan lent her support and bought books for the kids. Jan has also chaired many of the club’s social events. She has been the recipient of many community service awards, including the coveted Maitzen Award (which honors the Quotarian who has done outstanding committee work) and the Quota Twin Service Award. In addition to her work with Quota, Jan is involved in numerous community groups, especially those that focus on aging and the elderly.
