Darlene Brown

Quota International of San Jose, CA

Darlene’s public relations experience has helped her to promote Quota International and its commitment to service. She launched a public relations/visibility campaign for her club to highlight local program initiatives. She has also been successful in her promotions of the deaf education scholarship program and the Easter Egg Hunt/Visit from Peter Cottontail for children at the Oster School for the Deaf in San Jose. Darlene is a past club and district officer and remains active on the service committees. In addition to her job in semiconductor chip sales and raising her 17-year-old son, she is involved in her community through service organizations that primarily focus on disadvantaged women and children. Her personal objective is “to improve the quality of life for others around her. If she can positively influence the quality of life for others, then she feels that she is making a contribution.”
