Beverly Wood

Quota International of Paris, TN

Beverly Wood joined Quota in 1979 and wasted little time in making her mark in the world of Quota. She was selected Quotarian of the Year for the 1982-83 club year and has served in various positions in Quota, including vice president and president-elect and president in 1988-90. In 1991, she served as chairman of a very successful district conference and served the 23rd District as secretary-treasurer in 1995-1996. She has attended numerous district conferences, south area meetings, and international conventions, chairing committees at the district conference and international convention level. Beverly is currently serving on the Paris Quota Board of Directors as parliamentarian. Beverly’s volunteer commitments expand well beyond Quota. She is an active member in her church, where she currently serves as an elder. She is chairman of the Christian Education Committee and coordinator of the “The Marthas” Presbyterian Women Catering Group, a group which provides scholarship assistance to students attending the Christian college in Thailand as well as schools in the United States. Beverly is always ready to lend a helping hand wherever she is needed and in her spare time, enjoys needlework, flowers, scrapbooking, and spending time with family and friends.
