Margaret Barry

Quota International of Fort Lauderdale, FL

Peggy Barry has faithfully served QI of Fort Lauderdale for 42 years. In that time she has held every executive office, and she now serves as permanent treasurer because of her exemplary fund-raising skills. In addition to serving her club, Peggy held the secretary-treasurer position for District 27 for two years. In addition to Quota, Peggy volunteers much of her time to serve the needs of young women, children, and senior citizens. Logging in over 23,000 service hours for Holy Cross Hospital Auxiliary, she is a priceless addition to the staff. Peggy received the Silver Circle Award for her work with North Woods University, preparing young women for the business world. On top of all that, Peggy volunteers for the Catholic Missions, the Disabled Veterans, St. Jude’s Hospital for children with cancer, and St. Clement’s Church. In her spare time, Peggy donates time to feed the homeless, working with Our Father’s Soup Kitchen and St. Laurence’s Chapel.
