Lucille Gould

Quota International of Woonsocket, RI

Lucille Gould is a cheerful, positive Quotarian truly embodying the spirit of volunteerism. Lucille has been an active member of her club for nine years, serving on the board of directors and as chairperson of numerous committees. Always willing to help, she can be found at most workshops and events—be it making crafts for the bazaar, cutting pies for the Farmer’s market, working on a yard sale, or whatever else comes up. No task is too big or too small for Lucille. In addition to her work with Quota, Lucille and her husband are ardent supporters of the H.O.P.E. Foundation International. With her guidance the club was able to support efforts to build a speech and language clinic in the Philippines for the native Aetna peoples. She also led a campaign to collect old hearing aids, glasses, and medical supplies for the project. In her off time, Lucille is an avid quilt maker, creating numerous pieces for auction by her Quota club, her church, and other charities.
