Lois Kilbert

Quota International of Sharon, PA

A truly talented volunteer, Lois Kilbert is serving her community with gusto. An active Quotarian since 1987, Lois has chaired every committee in her club. She is also active at the St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, serving as Eucharistic Minister, working with deaf ministry, youth groups, and all the charity boards. For 32 years Lois has volunteered her time and solicited donations for the Shenango Valley Special Games. Each year there is a week of activities including swimming, bowling, and track and field events. This year over 465 people participated. Other activities include work at the Mercer County Association of Retarded, coordinating a sign language class for Sharon Regional Hospital, and serving as a substitute teacher for Special Needs Classes of IU #4. Persistence is perhaps her greatest attribute, for, while recovering from a broken hip, Lois continued her research for two scholarship recipients, and she was able to present the awards on time at the May meeting. Lois is a prime example of a dedicated volunteer.
