Diana DeCharles

Quota International of Shreveport, LA

Since joining QI of Shreveport in 1986, Diana DeCharles has volunteered with passion. Diana has participated heavily in the adopt-a-school program, providing children with such basics as clothing, books, and games. For five months worth of weekends and holidays, Diana helped build a house for Habitat for Humanity, giving a single mother and her three children a place to call home. This past October she also chaired the “Celebrity Round-up,” raising over $10,000 for the Deaf Action Center in Shreveport. Diana has served her club as vice-president, president, and also took on the position of District 21 governor. Outside of Quota Diana is just as active, serving on the board of the local YWCA, the Deaf Action Center, and the Black/White Communications Task Force.
