Almeda Hunter has always selflessly given her time and talents to causes close to her heart. She is active with countless organizations, including the Flint Women’s Farm and Garden Club, Women in Education, and the Flint Institute of Arts. Almeda is currently president of PEO Sorority, helping to bring foreign students to the United States for graduate studies, so that they may return home as credentialed professionals. In addition, she is currently treasurer and a past president of the Allegro Society, promoting talents of musically gifted children. In her 21 years with Quota, Almeda has served as club president and endlessly volunteers whenever her talents and experience are needed. Almeda is a caring, sincere Quotarian who generously shares her time and energy with her three children, eight grandchildren, and her several great-grandchildren, as well as her community.
