June Gillespie

Quota International of Salisbury, MD

June Gillespie has been a member of Quota International of Salisbury for almost 19 years. Since joining Quota, June has always been active in all aspects of our club, whether as an officer or committee member, and has always assisted whenever needed. She currently is in her second year as chairman of our Christmas Craft Fair, which is held each year in the last week of October. This requires a full year of organizing and planning the event. This is our 18th year. We have 222 booths and crafters from many, many states. Each year about 6,500 people attend the fair. June handles this with ease and always has a happy smile. In addition to Quota, she is very involved with her church, serving seven years as Sunday school superintendent. She assists the Youth MYF and many other church-related activities. At the MYF Soup Drive, she is almost always on hand to give of her time, whether in the kitchen or on the road making deliveries. She plans church picnics, organizing food, location, and entertainment. June is an honorary member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Salisbury Fire Department. Here her dedication will always shine. December is a busy month for June, who can be found working at Coastal Hospice or ringing the bell for the Salvation Army. Here again, June is always there. You can see she gives of her time and shares with others, a true Quota volunteer. Quota International of Salisbury is proud to present June Gillespie as their Volunteer of the Year.
