Excellence in Membership Recruitment QI of Andover
A downward trend in membership made recruitment a priority for this club. First step: establishing a membership budget of $400 and asking the membership committee to "do what was necessary to strengthen the club." After producing a new brochure, the club drafted a recruiting letter to accompany it. The letter highlighted the club's mission, recent service accomplishments, and membership obligations. Next, the club created information packets for potential members and folders for new members. Armed with excellent material, the club revamped the annual recruiting event into a reception highlighting community service. Notably, the local YWCA director offered a glowing report about collaborating with Quota, while the club's scholarship winner talked about her gratitude for their support in her education. Strategic event publicity and excellent media coverage drew a large crowd that helped increase membership 35 percent last year. For the complete application, click here.* QI of Wilmington
The club began with a commitment to more interesting service efforts. As the programs attracted attention, club members happily answered lots of questions about Quotawho we are and what we do. Next, the club assessed their recruitment tools and got to work on important changesa brochure about the club; a more informative club newsletter; Quota business cards for each member to use in recruitment; and a Quota phone line with 24-hour voice mail.
