This Northern California farming community celebrated the harvest with "A Night Out, the Quota Way" and helped the club raise U.S.$11,300 for local service projects.

The event featured elegant appetizers, local beer, wine, and cider, and a silent auction featuring over 300 high quality items for bidding. The club sold individual tickets ($10 each) as well as sponsorship tables to local businesses to attract more than 500 guests and make the event the talk of the town.

The club credits the large turnout to publicity emphasizing local service goals. Members say donors and attendees of this annual event know they are contributing to a great cause.

A bachelor auction with a James Bond theme, "From Quota with Love," provided an exciting money-making event that raised more than U.S.$9,600 for Quota service in one evening and gained significant publicity for the club.

Attention to detail in decorations, costumes, entertainment, and delicious hors d'oeuvres made the event unique—from martini-shaped bidding paddles to Bond girls and a handsome Agent 007, all gallivanting around a local brewery, in keeping with James Bond's penchant for industrial settings.

Following an ice breaker, some mingling, a silent auction, and dancing, the bachelor auction began, featuring 15 dream date packages complete with an eligible bachelor. Two of the men went for $400 each! The novel idea attracted attention and brought new supporters for Quota service.
