District
Dynamo Contest
YOU can help your club win Quota International's coveted DISTRICT DYNAMO
award for membership excellence, and doing so can result in "sweet
success" for you and your fellow members!
How does this contest work? Beginning April 1 of every Quota year and
continuing through March 31 of the following year, grow your club as large
as you can. If your club reports the highest percentage net gain in membership
in your district during this 12-month period, you win the top prize and
honors awarded at your district conference: a beautiful engraved silver
plate containing sweets. Bonus!
Any clubs that have branches that
become clubs during this time period will be honored as "co-winners,"
and they will receive this same prize. And every club that reports any
net gain in membership receives acknowledgement at your district conference
and a certificate of appreciation from Quota's international president.
The base membership number we will use for your club is the official count
as of March 31.
Every club is automatically entered in this exciting
opportunity to grow your club, your district, and Quota. Simply send in
your club's new member forms (with initiation fees and dues) and report
your club membership losses (resignations, transfers, and deaths) on a
monthly basis to the QI Office in Washington, D.C., or Australia, and
we'll record your results! We are publishing membership information for
every club on our Quota Web site (www.quota.org), so you can check out
your "District Dynamo" competition. To go directly to Club Membership
Statistical Information, click here.
Your governor is COUNTING ON YOUR CLUB to heat up the competition in
your home district. So don't delay! Share these details with your club
members and get started:
- The District Dynamo contest begins April 1 and ends March 31 of the
following year. Official Quota International membership statistics for
those dates will be used in judging success. New member forms (along
with initiation fees and dues) and member resignations, transfers, or
deaths, must be reported to the QI office in Washington, D.C., or Australia.
Please do so on a monthly basis.
- One top prize will be given in every district to the club that reports
the highest percentage paid net membership gain. In each district, the
top winning club will be honored at their annual district conference
and listed on the Quota International Web Site.
- All clubs that report a net membership gain will receive acknowledgement
at annual district conferences as well as the prestigious Certificate
of Appreciation from the Quota international president.
- The District Dynamo contest is a district-wide competition. Your club
is competing only against clubs in your own district. Clubs NOT located
in any district will compete against each other. Every club has an equal
chance to win because success is based on percentage net gain in membership
(the number of new members minus the number of members lost equals the
net gain).
- To win, a club must be in good standing (all annual dues and fees
paid in full).
The District Dynamo Membership Contest is sponsored by the Wanda Frey
Joiner Development Fund.
