Club
Liability Insurance
The Quota International Office recommends that all clubs obtain liability
insurance. Programs are available to clubs located in Australia, Canada, and
the United States. For more information on programs in these countries, click
here. Quota recommends that clubs NOT located in one of these countries
contact a local insurance provider.
Internal
Revenue Service Club "EIN" Numbers (U.S. Clubs)
The U.S. Internal Revenue Department requires the Quota International
Office to collect and report each U.S. club’s Employer Identification Number
(EIN) on an annual basis. The Quota International Office contacts those clubs
that have not reported EIN numbers. If contacted, please return the EIN form
on or before January 1.
Setting
Up 501(c)(3) Status (U.S. Clubs)
Quota International has received from the Internal Revenue Service
"group exemption" under Section 501(c)(3) of the U.S. Tax Code
for our We Share Foundation. What this means is that U.S. clubs can obtain
tax exempt status for your charitable activities through this group exemption.
The benefit of doing so is that contributions to your club for charitable
activities are generally deductible for federal income, gift, and estate
tax purposes. To learn more or to request a packet for setting up 501(c)(3)
status, click
