Payment
Deadlines
- Club Dues Deadline: January 1 (30-day grace period)
- Convention Fee Payment Deadline: January 1 (30-day grace period)
Payment
Policies and Late Fees
Clubs can pay annual dues and the Advance Convention Fee via check,
money order, or bank draft (payable to "Quota International, Inc.")
in United States currency only. Please send payments to the Quota International
Office, 1420 21st Street, N.W., Washington, D.C. 20036.
In fairness to all clubs, the late fee policy instituted by the Board of
Directors requires that clubs delinquent in the filing of their international
dues pay for Quota’s cost in rebilling and/or processing overdue payments.
Clubs are requested to include their late fee when sending overdue payments.
- Last postmark date to avoid paying late fees: January 31.
- U.S.$50 Late Fee: Club payments postmarked February 1-28 (29
in leap year).
- U.S.$100 Late Fee: Club payments postmarked March 1 or later.
- If a club’s international dues and fees are not postmarked by April
1, the first of two notices will be sent via mail, fax, e-mail, and/or
telephone. If payment is not received by May 1, a second notice will
be sent and the international president will be notified.
Nonpayment
of Club Dues and/or Bylaw-Required Fees
In fairness to all clubs, nonpayment of international dues and fees
(including the Advance Convention Fee) will be administered systematically
according to the guidelines established in Quota International Bylaws. Article
XIV Clubs. Section 2, B-1, states that: "Failure more than sixty
days after due date to pay financial obligations to Quota International after
two notices of such indebtedness" may result in a club’s charter
being revoked by the Board of Directors.
