Club Dues, Fees, and Donations

Deadlines

Although new and departing club members are reported to Quota International on an ongoing basis (for details, click here), club dues and fees are paid once a year:

October 1—Deadline for clubs in the South Pacific (Australia, Fiji, New Zealand) to pay membership dues. October 31 is the final postmark date for payment without incurring a late fee.

January 1—Deadline for clubs in all non-SPA countries (Aruba, Canada, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Netherlands, Netherlands Antilles, the Philippines, Singapore, Suriname, United States) to pay membership dues and the U.S.$100 Advance Convention Fee. January 31 is the final postmark date for payment without incurring a late fee.

March 1—Deadline for clubs in the South Pacific to pay the U.S.$100 Advance Convention Fee. There is no grace period for the payment of this fee.

Explanation of Club Payments

1. Annual Dues
International dues, collected by clubs and paid once a year, are U.S.$75 per member.

2. Annual Advance Convention Fee
All clubs are required to pay the annual U.S.$100 advance convention fee. This fee, paid by all clubs whether or not they send a delegate to the biennial convention, funds international governance-related activities including the mailing of international election information, credentials, balloting and voting procedures, and proposed bylaws to all clubs. It also funds international elections conducted on-site at convention as well as the absentee balloting process used by clubs that do not send voting delegates to convention. The advance convention fee funds the annual mail ballot election process used to elect area directors in areas.

3. Club Donations
Quota International has two funds that members and clubs support with donations—one fund supports Quota’s development and growth (the Wanda Frey Joiner Development Fund) and one fund supports international service, the We Share Foundation. Quota also accepts all donations for the Club-to-Club World Service Program. For details on Quota’s donation programs, click here.
