TWO afternoons of inspiring, educational, informative, and instructive
learning opportunities. We have a learning adventure for every Quota interest11
separate break-out sessions in all.
Saturday,
July 22, 2:45 - 5:00 p.m.: "Charge Your Quota Battery" Workshop
Series
Spark your Quota learning by participating in our Convention 2006 workshop
seriesfive sessions offered in three different tracks designed to
help you achieve excellence in your club, in Quota, and in your own life.

- Session 1
President's Travelogue: A Visit with Quota's Club-to-Club Projects
Presenter: Carolyn Rice, International President
2:45 - 3:45 p.m.
Travel with President Carolyn Rice on this one-hour journey to Quota's
Club-to-Club World Service Projects in India and the Philippines. Witness
the amazing passion and commitment shown by the Quotarians in both countries,
not only to their Club-to-Club projects, which you have generously funded
this year, but to the diversity of service work these clubs have provided
wherever it is needed in their communities. President Carolyn shares
highlights of her travels to these two countries during her presidential
year.

Laugh Free and Live
Presenter: Saundra Maisey, District 29 Governor
4:00 - 5:00 p.m.
Have you ever laughed, just for the physical experience of laughing?
It is well documented that the activity of laughter reduces cortisol,
a hormone that causes stress, and it increases endorphins, which are
the body's own natural opiatesthey make you happy! Join your fellow
Quotarians for some stress relieving laughter, and learn about the principles
of Good Hearted Living © to help prevent "hardening of the
attitudes." It's sure to be a fun hour. Together we can lead the
world to health, happiness, and peace through laughter.

Explore Quota's Finances: Answers to your Quota Questions
Presenters: Daryl Perrine, Treasurer, and Kathleen Treiber, Executive
Director
2:45 - 3:45 p.m.
Are you interested in Quota International's finances? Do you have specific
questions about the 2006 Treasurer's Report? Would you like more information
about how Quota funds its programs and operations? Would you like more
information on how your dues dollars, donations, and fees are used to
fund the work of your international organization? Are you curious about
how the Quota International office operates? Then this session, devoted
to answering your Quota finance questions, is for you. Every question
answered
guaranteed!

Roberts Knows Best! Parliamentary Procedure Boot Camp
Presenter: Carolyn Stubbs, Parliamentarian and Past International President
4:00 - 5:00 p.m.
Parliamentary procedure is the key to responsible and respectful, democratic
decision-making at club, district, and area meetings and convention.
Come and learn how Quota utilizes Robert's Rules and parliamentary procedure
to listen to the voice of the majority while protecting the rights of
the minority. Brush up on your knowledge, or build new skills one day
prior to the Convention 2006 Bylaws session. This workshop is presented
by one of Quota International's most knowledgeable leaders experienced
in parliamentary procedure.

July 23, 3:00 - 5:00 p.m.: Quota's "Best of the Best" Success
Panels
Six panelseach focusing on a different Quota topicwill showcase
the best in Quota club projects worldwide. Quota Cares Month winners,
Excellence Award winners, successful Quota branch organizers, and 5K fund-raising
winners are among the panelists who will share details about their winning
projects along with tips on how you can replicate success in your own
Quota club or community. Choose the two panels that interest YOU most!

Strengthening Your Club through Service: Quota Cares Month Success Secrets
Faciliator: Maureen Taylor, Canada Area Director
How can you strengthen your club? Energize your members? Expand your
club's local and global visibility? And improve your fund-raising success?
By planning a great service project that involves all club members.
Club service is Quota International's secret "development and growth"

Quota Cares Month Competition will share their success stories. Are
you a president who wants to leave a legacy? This session is for you!

Fund-raising Ideas that Make (Dollars and) Cents!

Is your club tired of the same old fund-raising events? Are you finding
that it takes a large amount of effort to bring in small financial rewards?
After attending this enjoyable workshop, where panelists will share
Excellence and 5K award-winning club fund-raising ideas, you'll come

appreciate.

by winners of Quota's prestigious Excellence in Service awards. Learn
how and why winning clubs planned their projects, how they involved
their club members in their projects, and the benefits their community
and service targets gained.

Fanning the Flames of Fellowship and Fun in Your Quota Club
Facilitator: Janice Woolrych, South Pacific Area Director
Members join Quota because of the service, but they stay because of

your club's fellowship and fun! Come learn how
other clubs keep the "magic" in your members' club experiences.
