Convention
2004
Toronto, Ontario, Canada
July 16-19, 2004
Toronto, one of the world's most cosmopolitan cities, has a style and excitement
all its own. This Canadian city vibrates as a cultural center and blends a
multicultural heritage that includes 80 ethnic groups who collectively speak
more than 100 languages. Come explore "a world within a city" at
Convention 2004.
Toronto is famous for its soaring futuristic architecture, museums, galleries,
performing arts companies, eclectic dining, relaxed cafes, trendy shopping
complexes, and people-friendly waterfronts. In diverse neighborhoods ranging
from Chinatown to Little Italy, from Cabbagetown to Forest Hill, you will
find homes where residents maintain the traditions and lifestyles of their
ancestors. For those who love to shop, you will find charming neighborhoods
full of specialty shops that range from elegant to quirky.

Need
some reasons to attend convention? Quota members rave about past experiences
I just wanted to take a minute and
write you a note regarding the
convention and tell you what a great time all of us from Wilmington
had! I ask that you pass on to everyone that we all
enjoyed ourselves, met some great Quotarians from around the world,
and I came home again with new challenges and new ideas to help make
our club even better.
Susanna Mays
Club President
QI of Wilmington, Delaware, U.S.A.
I urge each of you to plan to go to
an international convention. It is so exciting to be with other Quota
members from around the world who share a common goal and to experience
their fellowship. One of the highlights of Convention is the presentation
of flags with presenters in their native dress. It's interesting to
learn the many different ways clubs raise funds and serve
their communities.
Phyllis Murray
Past Club President
QI of Paris, Tennessee, U.S.A.
The 2000 Convention in Calgary, Alberta,
Canada, was my first. Convention is an event every Quotarian must experience.
Everything and everyone acquires relativity. I met some fantastic Quotarians
from all over the world, one of whom is now my e-mail pen pal, and I
learned a great deal about the diversity of Quota clubs in organizational,
fund-raising, and service concepts.
Sandra Casey
Past Club President
QI of Canberra, ACT, Australia
Convention promises to be a valuable
learning experience. You will have the opportunity to voice your opinions
regarding potential changes at the Town Hall meeting, listen to our
leaders, and experience International fellowship.
Suzanne Prosser
Past 18th District Governor
QI of Orillia, Ontario, Canada
