Learn about the Service-on-Site Project
Founded in 1919, Quota International dedicates most of its volunteer work to help deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals and disadvantaged women and children. At every convention, the host committee selects a charity to which visiting Quota members donate items toward a specific program. This year, Quota's host districts-Districts 11 and 18selected The Canadian Hearing Society's Literacy & Basic Skills Program, designed to assist new Deaf Canadians to learn American Sign Language (ASL), English, math, and to adapt to a new culture. Quota members from around the world brought dictionaries, pens, pencils, markers, notebooks, erasers, calculators, rulers, and more as donations.
