The Quota Club of Baton Rouge hosted a post-convention dinner for 35 Quotarians enjoying Quota International's Magnolias & Mint Juleps two-day tour. The dinner was held at White Oak Plantation in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Guests were greeted in the beautiful foyer of the home by Frances Boudreaux, president of the Baton Rouge Club, and past international President Bobbie Carey. Guests then viewed a sparkling tableau of Mardi Gras costume-clad children from the Krewe of Lyonness, the Baton Rouge children's krewe.

Guests sipped wine and strolled the grounds as they visited before sitting down to dinner. John Duet, manager of White Oak, spoke to the group about the history and architectural details of the building. Chef John Tarver presented the evening's menu, and Julie Fuller offered the invocation and then talked to the group about the children's krewe. She introduced the king, queen, and attendants of the Krewe of Lyonness as they entered the room in their costumes.

President Mary was presented an autographed copy of Chef John Folse's Plantation Celebrations cookbook and other gifts. Guests included 2003-2004 President Mary Cotter and past international presidents Dolores Brosky, Lynne Caroon, and Rosemary Patterson.

As a memento of the convention and the visit to Louisiana, each guest was given a certificate granting them full membership in the Krewer of Quota for "having passed a good time at the 82nd annual of Quota International in New Orleans!"
