Cares Month Winners Honored

Five Quota clubs were honored during Convention 2003 as top
winners of this year's Quota Cares Month promotion. In addition, four other
clubs received honorable mentions.

Quota Cares Month, held in March 2003, was created to encourage clubs to
develop newsworthy community service projects for more local visibility.

Winners
- QI of Armidale, New South Wales, Australia, for a series of four special
events
- QI of Auckland and QI of Takapuna, New Zealand, for a jointly organized
fund-raising luncheon
- QI of Bath, New York, U.S.A., for a barbeque fund-raiser for a memorial
scholarship
- QI of Bundaberg, Queensland, Australia, for a project to help the community
rescue service
- QI of Norfolk Island, Australian Territory, for a series of six fund-raisers

- QI of Bathurst, New South Wales, Australia, for a Quota Diabetes Awareness
Day
- QI of Beckley, West Virginia, U.S.A., for a silent auction and member
recruitment luncheon
- QI of Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia, for a Quota Race Day event to
help drought victims
- QI of Morgantown, West Virginia, U.S.A., for a "We Care" package
drive for U.S. troops deployed overseas
