We Share Foundation:
Still a Baby, But Growing Strong

The We Share Foundation launched at Convention 2000 in Calgary. Three years later, the Foundation is meeting goals and continuing to grow.

Quota Executive Director Kathleen Treiber (right) reiterated the foundation's original goals:

• Find new ways to communicate about service and share club service success with members around the world.
• Provide new services, programs, and tools to help clubs with service.
• Increase Quota's visibility.
• Do all of the above without raising member dues!

Among the new programs developed for the foundation is Volunteers in Action—a comprehensive set of services and tools to help club service efforts. The program includes the annual Photo Contest, judged by White House staff photographers, and, in 2003, Quota Cares Month—a month-long initiative to encourage clubs to perform newsworthy community service.

Winners of the Photo Contest and top winners for Quota Cares Month projects were awarded certificates during the presentation.
