Dear Fellow Quotarians,

The sun rises every day giving us the opportunity to "Share Our Sunshine" daily with those around us and beyond. I know that Quotarians unselfishly have others in mind as they render service to so many in their local and international communities. A wise man once said: "If you share your sunshine with others, you cannot keep it from yourself." And so I am pleased to announce that my theme this year will be "Share Our Sunshine." Even when the sun sets, we continue to give light in the darkness to others.

Yesterday I was installed as your international president. This gives me the privilege and honor to continue to serve our organization another year, making it my fifth year as a member of the board of directors. You have elected a team to serve you with the best of Quota's interest in mind, providing harmonious unity in diversity. Our mission is to build a collaborative force of members who actively serve community needs and projects, foster friendship, and promote personal development through a network of local clubs. We will improve international understanding of and among members while increasing the quality of life for deaf, hard-of-hearing, and speech-impaired persons and disadvantaged women and children.

As president, I look forward to meeting as many of you as possible at the area meetings and district conferences, and I will visit some Quota countries to celebrate your achievements, understand the challenges in your communities, and promote expansion of our membership through service activities and projects.

I invite you to join me in making this year's experience of serving a brilliant one. I continue to count on your interest, dedication, and motivation. Together, carrying the Quota flag and supported by the flags of all of Quota's countries, we move forward towards successful achievement of all clubs' goals while Sharing Our Sunshine!
