Quota International Announces Slate of 2006 Board Nominees

The following Quota members have been nominated as candidates for the following positions:

2006-2007 PRESIDENT-ELECT

2006-2007 TREASURER

• Toddy Silkman, QI of Kent Valley, Washington, U.S.A., District 14
• June Young, QI of Liverpool, New South Wales, Australia, District 35

2006-2008 CANADA AREA DIRECTOR

• Suzanne Prosser, QI of Orillia, Ontario, Canada, District 18

2006-2008 SOUTH AREA DIRECTOR

• Marian Fetchik, QI of Coral Springs/Parkland, Florida, U.S.A., District 27
• Gwenn Jackson, QI of Monroe, Louisiana, U.S.A., District 21

2006-2008 WEST AREA DIRECTOR

• Holly Bostwick, QI of Santa Fe, New Mexico, U.S.A., District 9

Detailed voting information, the nominee brochure, mail ballots, and complete voting instructions will be mailed to all voting delegates no later than March 15, 2006. All voting delegates in good standing who attend Convention 2006 are permitted to vote in the 2006 Bylaws Session. International officer elections will be held at Convention 2006 for the position of 2006-2007 Treasurer. An absentee ballot will be available for use by voting delegates in good standing unable to attend convention. Because there is only one candidate for the office of president-elect, there will be no election held for this position, and the nominee will be declared the winner at Convention 2006.

South Area voting delegates will elect their area director via mail ballot election, held prior to Convention 2006. All completed mail ballots must be received at the QI Office by May 15, 2006. Ballots received after this date will be disqualified. Because there is only one candidate running for the office of Canada Area Director and West Area Director, there will be no mail ballot elections held for these positions, and the nominees will be declared winners at the time that mail ballots for the South Area Director election are counted.
