District 21 Quotarians in the U.S. Face Hurricane Katrina’s Wrath

All of Quota has watched in horror as the devastation of Hurricane Katrina has been shown around the world these past few days. We have just spoken with South Area Director Rosemary Hannie, and we are thrilled to know that she is safe at her home. Some of you know she works in New Orleans, Louisiana, U.S.A., four days a week, so we were particularly concerned.

We are trying to reach our club members that experienced the brunt of the storm. We are in e-mail contact with Vicki Miller, District 21 Lt. Governor and member of the Mississippi Gulf Coast Club. She is at her brothers in Georgia and is safe. She doesn't know about her house, though. As we find out more, we will keep you informed on Quota International's Web Site (www.quota.org) as to their status and how Quotarians can help best during this time of uncertainty and extraordinary need (click "Quota Headlines").

To our District 21 Quotarians: We fervently hope that you and your families were able to find refuge from the storm and that you are all safe. That is our number one concern. We know that you will face difficult days, weeks, and months ahead, but we hope that knowing your Quota friends are by your side will be some comfort to you as you forge ahead.
