Quota Mourns Death of PIP Jeannette Healey

Quota International regrets to announce the death on January 17, 2003, of Past International President Jeannette B. Healey. A member of QI of Waterbury, Connecticut, and District 5, Jeannette served as international president from 1970-1971. Her presidential theme, "Unity of Purpose," expressed her desire for Quota to unite in service, paving the way for the organization's adoption of hearing health as its first international initiative. Jeannette was a gentle lady with strong beliefs but a ready smile. Condolences may be sent to the Waterbury club who were part of her family for 58 years.

In addition, in response to requests from members and in honor of
Jeannette's deep interest in Quota's service programs, a memorial fund in her name has been set up with the We Share Foundation. If you wish to make a donation to this memorial fund, please write your check payable to the We Share Foundation and include a note that it is for PIP Jeannette Healy's memorial. Please send it to: We Share Foundation, 1420 21st Street, N.W., Washington, D.C. 20036. We will notify her family and club of your donation, and we will list the names of all contributors in the Convention 2003 Notebook. Please note that all donations to the We Share Foundation are tax deductible in the United States.
