R5 – Ginny Bonometti
Quota International of Winchester, Virginia, USA (District 19)
What are your qualifications for the position of Quota Regional Director?
My past leadership roles and experience in Quota and in business, together with my deep personal ties across Virginia, North Carolina, and West Virginia, have well-prepared me to serve as Region 5’s inaugural Director. I’ve been honored to hold various Quota leadership positions (District 19 Governor, Winchester’s President, VP, and Secretary). I grew up in Athens, WV and graduated from WVU. My close personal and Quota affiliations with NC, together with my ties to VA and WV, give me a deep connection with all of the states and clubs that are uniting to
form Region 5.
What are your goals for your specific region?
My main goal as the inaugural Region 5 Director will be helping the 16 outstanding clubs in WV, VA and NC come together as a harmonious unit. We will cohesively unite and support one another, achieving a collective regional identity and affinity. My strong communication and proven organizational skills will help to ensure that Region 5 launches successfully. To support this central goal, I will endeavor to create attractive regional events, and I’ll seek to leverage online technologies to create a forum for all our members to share their ideas and express their views.
What do you do outside of Quota?
I’m a high-energy person with a deep sense of dedication and commitment to my family, my friends, and my community. I love spending time with my daughter and two grandchildren; we spent Mother’s Day riding roller coasters at King’s Dominion! My husband and I are active in promoting animal welfare, and we are devoted pet parents. I have a wonderful circle of friends; most of them are Quotarians! I enjoy reading and belong to two book clubs. I’m a gym-goer and love football. My teams are the WVU Mountaineers and Washington Redskins. I also work part-time in a pediatrician’s office.
What else would you like to share with the members of your region?
I co-founded a printing shop that became the top-grossing Minuteman Press in the country. After many years managing my own company, my husband and I sought a lifestyle that would better enable us to give back. We moved to Winchester, and I soon discovered Quota. I welcome the opportunity to devote myself to this organization that has brought me so many friendships and so much happiness and fulfillment. I pledge to energetically utilize my life experiences and expertise to strengthen and grow our region and to work with my fellow Region 5 Quotarians to distinguish our region within Quota International.
