2014-2016 Regional Directors

R2 – Kay Hatala

Quota International of Lake County, Ohio, USA (District 6)

What are your qualifications for the position of Quota Regional Director?
My qualifications for Regional Director, first and foremost is the passion and love I have for Quota. I have been a member since 1997, and shortly after joining I was asked to serve as Service Chair. I currently serve as Service and Publicity Chair, Historian, and serve on the Budget and Finance Committee. I have served on our Foundation Board and was President of our Club ‘05-‘07 and ‘10-‘11. I am also serving my 2nd year as Lt. Governor of 6th District. Whenever called on by the District, I am there!

What are your goals for your specific region?
My goals for the Region are to still keep the Region informed of news from International and within the region itself. Our District is a very close District and since our Region will be the same as our District (no changes), I would like to see the continuity still be there, but also still see growth in new ideas form International, 6 District(Area ) and from Clubs around the world!!

What do you do outside of Quota?
My “life” out of Quota is that I am a wife, mom and Nana. I am a retired Pre-K teacher and Administrator. I currently work as an Administrator for a Before/Aftercare Program at one of our city schools. I am Vice President of our family-owned Heavy Duty Body Shop, Hatala’s Refinishing. I serve our community as well outside of Quota by being a big for 22 years with Big Brothers and Big Sisters and on the Board of Directors of Coaches Corner which is a home for at risk teens.

What else would you like to share with the members of your region?
To the members of our Region, I would like you to know that I will serve you to the best of my ability and that I am a true team player to Quota. Although I may be serving as Regional Director this is your Region and you are the voices of Quota!
