What do you do outside of Quota?
I have a Masters degree in Chemistry, from the prestigious Delhi University. I started my career as a research scientist, with the Ministry of Defense in 1971. Later joined the Indian Oil Corporation, a fortune 500 organization and went on to become a Senior Manager with them. I took voluntary retirement in year 2000, after being a part of the corporate world for 30 years. During my career I have handled several diverse areas viz. Research, Training and HRD. At present I am an entrepreneur involved in Network Marketing. I am an avid Scrabble and Sudoko player. Enjoy doing yoga.
What else would you like to share with the members of your region?
Basically I am Go-Getter. Anything that I take on I give it the very best in me. I am not afraid of failure, because I feel failure is also part of success. My style of management is participative. However since I believe in delivering results I can be impatient at times. People sometimes can be critical of me for that but they are never short of respect for me, because they understand that my motives are right. I am not status conscious and am equally comfortable with the super rich or the poor, well educated or the illiterates, young ones or the elderly. I have a good sense of humor and am a happy mix of work and fun.
