2007-2008 Annual Reports and Convention 2008 Highlights

The 85th Quota International Convention was held from July 11 to July 14, 2008, in San Jose, California, U.S.A., and 389 members and leaders representing 11 different Quota countries attended. This was the organization’s third biennial convention held since implementing the change in Quota International’s meeting calendar.

2007-2008 Quota International President Daryl Perrine of Wooster, Ohio, U.S.A,, presided over four days of meaningful Quota discussions, debates, celebrations, fellowship, presentations, and opportunities for members to broaden their horizons. Convention activities were held at the Fairmont San Jose Hotel in San Jose.

The convention culminated with the installation of Toddy Silkman of Kent Valley, Washington, U.S.A., as Quota International’s 2008-2009 president during a ceremony held the last evening of convention. The festive evening celebrated the change in Quota International leadership in a moving ceremony led by outgoing President Daryl Perrine and incoming President Toddy Silkman unveiled her theme, “Give the Gift of Quota.”
