Linda Minton wants to encourage future growth of Quota “in the area of technology, providing resources for membership and keeping the means and methods of communications growing.”

A Quotarian for 16 years, she believes that “there needs to be a world-wide increase in Quota International visibility.” As a member of the board, she “will continue to encourage global growth, retention of members, and future leadership.”

Linda was Governor of District 33 from 1999 to 2001, San Luis Obispo Club President from 1997 to 1999, and Quotarian of the Year from 1994-1995. She served as chairperson and was one of the creators of the Excellence Awards and also helped prepare the Relocation of Headquarters Report in July 2001.

Linda is a banker and currently serves as Vice President/Manager of Corporate Banking for Mid-State Bank and Trust. She is on the Executive Board of Directors for the Cal Poly University Mustang Athletic Fund, the Board of Directors of the San Luis Obispo Chamber of Commerce, and an active member of the Institute of Management Accountants.

In 1998, Linda received the Cuesta College “Women of Distinction Award” in the category of Community and Public Service Volunteer. She has also been honored by a “Strength in Diversity, A Salute to Women” award in 1992, a Certificate of Recognition from California State Senator Jack O’Connell for outstanding service and work as a volunteer, and a Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition from Congresswoman Lois Capps for outstanding and invaluable service to the community.
