Linda Morton’s vision for Quota continues to be building Quota into a stronger and healthier organization.

Central Area Director
Linda Morton

HOME CLUB:
Quota International
of Canton

OH, United States

Linda Morton's vision for Quota continues to be building Quota into a stronger and healthier organization. By introducing innovative ideas and strengthening successful programs, Linda believes Quota can become a dynamic part of the community and, by doing so, will encourage others to join or start new clubs. Linda wants to ensure Quota's future for the next generation of Quotarians.

Linda has served Quota in various ways at the international level, including 2005-2007 chairman of the International Speech and Hearing Committee and co-chair of the Convention 2008 Silent Auction in San Jose, California. She also developed the "Healthy Hearing" Earplug Campaign that has been adopted by Quota International. She has attended international conventions in North America and the South Pacific and presented at two. At the district level, Linda served as governor of Sixth District from 2005-2007. The experience of traveling to other clubs, conferences, and area meetings provided her with the opportunity to work with many talented and dedicated Quotarians. At the club level, Linda is a 15-year member of Quota and served as club president from 2001-2003; chaired many committees; was involved in chartering the Orrville Quota Club; and was named the Quotarian of the Year in 1999.

Linda is co-owner and office manager of a real estate brokerage. She owned her own retail business for several years and was employed in the statistical department of a major department store, where she was responsible for multi-million dollar accounts.

Other community activities that Linda has been involved in include past board member of the Stark County American Red Cross; Domestic Violence of Stark County Advisory Board; and tutoring in the Literacy Program for Children.
