“Quota’s identity as an international organization will grow as clubs respond to needs outside the boundaries of community.”

President-elect
Gwenn Jackson

HOME CLUB:
Quota International of Monroe

LA, United States

Gwenn Jackson believes each member will guarantee the health and longevity of Quota as Quotarians support service initiatives, invite new members, and share service opportunities in new communities. She says, "Quota's identity as an international organization will grow as clubs respond to needs outside the boundaries of community. The growth and support of World Service projects give meaning to the benefit of international sharing. Service through local clubs will remain our focus while collectively providing new opportunities to disadvantaged people of all cultures. Our future will respect Quota traditions and embrace the challenges of remaining relevant in an ever-changing world. I invite you to begin a dialogue with me about Quota's fundamental strengths. I call them Quota vital signs. Visit my web page at www.quotavitalsigns.com or contact me at gwenn@quotavitalsigns.com."

Gwenn joined Quota International of Monroe in1989. She took the position of club president in 2001-2002. She served as chair of "Kids Expo" (recipient of Excellence Award in Fund Raising 2002). In addition, she has served as membership chair from 1995-1998; secretary/treasurer of District 21 from 2000-2001; lieutenant governor of District 21; governor of District 21 from 2004-2005; a member of the International Convention Credentials Committee; and a member of the International World Service Committee in 2005. Gwenn served as South Area director from 2006 to 2008 and international treasurer from 2008-2009.

Gwenn is a board certified Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and has practiced her specialty for 20 years. She is a partner in The Woman's Clinic of Monroe, the largest medical group practice in north Louisiana. Gwenn served as chief of staff at Glenwood Regional Medical Center from 2000-2001.
