Quota members care for others and each other. Rosemary Hannie believes Quota International's mission is to share these values globally. We are known best for the care we give to people in need in our communities and beyond. Our caring is our gift to humanity, and yet, Quota is more than a charity; we are a family. Though not easily recognized by those beyond our Quota world, our family ties are immensely important to us. We come together to serve, and in return, we are blessed with lifelong friendships that sustain us during dark hours and enrich us during joyous ones. Join me in creating a bright future for Quota by sharing these powerful gifts of friendship and service with others. A member of Quota International of Baton Rouge, Rosemary served as president from 1994 to 1995, club parliamentarian, and chair of numerous committees. Rosemary served as District 21 governor from 1999 to 2000 and South Area director from 2004 to 2006. Internationally, Rosemary was appointed to the Credentials Committee (2002), the Elections Committee (2001 and 2002), and the Convention Fee Task Force (2001). She chaired the Structure Task Force (2006 to 2007) and co-chaired the Convention Host Committee in 2003. Professionally, Rosemary is the owner of Rosemary Hannie Management Consulting. Previously, Rosemary worked as Deputy of Administration and Director of the Office of Statewide Human Resource Management for the State of Louisiana; Director of Administration and Assistant Executive Port Director for the Port of New Orleans; and Professor at the Graduate School of Public Administration for Southern University. In addition to her volunteer work with Quota International, Rosemary was appointed to the Governor's Advisory Council on Disability Affairs, the United Way Speakers Bureau, the Mayor's Task Force to Reduce Crime, and the Friends of Louisiana State University School of Music Board. Rosemary also enjoys serving as a volunteer at the New Orleans Opera. Rosemary has earned awards, including the Charles Dunbar Career Service Award, the Edward Swain Excellence Award, and the Monte Lemann Award for Contributions to Public Employment Systems. |
