Holly P. Bostwick believes that service is what Quotarians do best and that it is the vehicle for our future. She adds that service includes the time, talent, and resources we commit to Quota. Ranging from local projects to international programs, from committee participation to serving at all levels of office, and from personal financial contributions to global fund-raisers, Holly has learned that Quotarians believe in the power of service. She also believes that, at its heart, service is a way of thinking, an attitude, that must be nurtured and passed on. To quote Holly, "one of our greatest goals, and gifts, is to plant the seed of Quota in the hearts of others so that they may join us in continuing our tradition." Having joined Quota International of Santa Fe, New Mexico, in 1983, Holly was Governor of District 9, 1995-1997. She has chaired the District 9 Standing Rules Committee and been a member of the District 9 Budget Committee. In 1998, Holly co-chaired the Vail Convention Welcome Committee. She has been a Quota International Service Committee member and chaired the Quota International Bylaws Committee (2003-2005). Holly's degree in Business Administration from the University of New Hampshire, her attention to detail, and organizational abilities have given her flexibility in the business world. HPB, Inc., the company she started in 1982, emphasizes personal and financial record keeping, tailoring services to the needs of clients ranging from individuals to an art gallery. It allows Holly to learn about people and their businesses while adapting her skills to their needs, lessons she has transferred to Quota. Other interests of Holly's include having worked with Junior Achievement,
being past president of her homeowners association, volunteering at libraries,
and working with purebred dogs with membership in the Border Terrier Club
of America since 1966. She and Gene, her husband of 27 years, enjoy spending
time with their four-legged children (two dogs and two cats), being involved
in their community, and working on their home and yard. Return to 2007-2008 Board of Directors main page. Home / Join / Help / Marketplace / Contact Quota / Site Index |
