Quota International of Massillon

OH, United States

Mary Pribich's vision for Quota is an organization that is a leader in the world for its service to the speech- and hearing-impaired and disadvantaged women and children. Mary envisions a world-renowned Quota International that improves the quality of life for beneficiaries of its service. This illustrious organization attracts new members and encourages member retention in its pursuit of service and fellowship.

Mary is a 15-year charter member of Quota International of Massillon, Ohio, and she is very proud to have been an active member of these club committees:

  • HB 150 Committee—worked for three years with state legislators to change the law in Ohio requiring all newborns to be screened for hearing. This bill became law in 2002.

  • Grant Writing Committee—successfully received $265,000 in a three-year period for service projects.

  • Service Committee—purchased over 250 sound field amplification systems for local schools.

In addition, Mary served as Central Area director from 2005 to 2007, governor of District 6 from 2001 to 2002, and she assisted in the 2001 chartering of QI of Orrville, Ohio. Mary was a member of Quota International's Club Expansion Organizers (CEO) Committee and the 2004 Elections Committee.

A graduate of Kent State University, Mary is a licensed and registered dietitian who has been working the last 25 years as Director of Food and Nutritional Services at Affinity Medical Center. She manages an annual budget of two million dollars.
Mary's community involvement includes serving as board member of the Massillon Board of Health and past president and board member of the Kent State Stark Alumni Association, and she has earned the following recognition:

  • YWCA of Women Community Volunteer of the Year (1997)

  • Community Health Foundation Volunteer of the Year (2002)
