Barbara-Anne
Frances McCabe
District 35
QI of Narooma, New South Wales, Australia
How long have you been a member of Quota International?
9 years
Why did you join Quota International?
To meet other women when I returned to my hometown after an absence of
17 years and to put something back into the community that had helped
make me the person I am today.
What has been your most meaningful Quota experience?
- Seeing the "big picture" of Quota at Convention 2006
- Being able to help our community and feeling as though I am doing
something worthwhile
- Having the support and friendship of fellow Quotarians, especially
my own club members
- Meeting the majority of the 35th District members while on governor
visits and being able to put a face to the name in the district directory
What are your goals for your year as governor?
To have all members working harmoniously together and strengthening our
membership with younger members, so that we can continue to carry on the
dreams of our founder in helping others.
What are your activities and interests outside of Quota?
My family, cycling, walking, knitting for my grand-daughters, reading,
and sharing good times with my friends.
