1. How long have you been a member of Quota International?
11 years
2. Why did you join Quota International?
A club charter member invited me to an information nightI attended
to be polite
and found a happy, welcoming group and joined that night.
3. What has been your most meaningful Quota experience?
Our club's 80th birthday celebration, an idea born out of a stressful
situation, which became an afternoon celebration with 37 local people
(all born in 1919), seven local politicians, and over 100 local people
attending (including children as entertainment)
and we got a great
new member!
4. What are your goals for your year as governor?
My goals are to:
- grow our district, more clubs, more members
- encourage harmony and "positiveness"
- encourage business-like principles in all areas
- encourage networking and mentoring between clubs
- enjoy my time and train the next leadership team
5. What are your activities and interests outside of Quota?
My family, my husband, and two daughters, a doctor and a composer. My
workI am a pharmacist and manage our pharmacy. I am also involved
on the board of our pharmacy computer company. I enjoy tennis, reading,
theater, music (I play the piano and the melodica
although club members
suggest that should only be played in Outer Mongolia!).
