Dianne
Brown
District 14
QI of Tacoma, Washington, U.S.A.
How long have you been a member of Quota International?
10 years
Why did you join Quota International?
I joined Quota to fulfill my personal desire to assist/help disadvantaged
women and children and all those who are hearing impaired.
What has been your most meaningful Quota experience?
My most meaningful Quota experience has been to be involved in the Tacoma
Club and to assist our local disadvantaged women and children and those
who are hearing impaired. In particular, I have enjoyed working with My
Sister's Pantry, Union Street/Faith Homes, and with the Family Renewal
Shelter.
What are your goals for your year as governor?
My goals for my year as governor will be to "Reach for the Stars"
and to focus on the development and growth of District 14 clubs in concert
with the challenge issued by PIP Mary Cotter, at our recent district conference,
to increase each club's membership by fifteen members in the next twelve
months! This is quite a challenge, but with the support of our district
leadership team and all members of District 14, we do hope to achieve
this goal!!
What are your activities and interests outside of Quota?
My activities and interests outside of Quota include golfing; skiing;
traveling; and my family, including my husband, Bob, of 36 years, four
beautiful daughters, seven grandchildren, and two great grandchildren!
