1. How long have you been a member of Quota International? 17
years
2. Why did you join Quota International?
Someone I admired asked me to join. I also wanted a way to network with
other professionals.
3. What has been your most meaningful Quota experience?
There are three:
- First international conventionmeeting such amazing women from
all over the world
- Our "Signing Santa" for deaf children, the first time they
didn't need an interpreter to talk to Santa Claus
- Our "Camp Q," a first camp/swim experience for several children
4. What are your goals for your year as governor?
- To be a facilitator for the other clubs
- Start a district newsletter
- Start a club in Omaha, Nebraska
- Encourage more members to attend district conferences and area/international
conventions
5. What are your activities and interests outside of Quota?
Reading, gardening, spending time with friends and family (especially
my three grandchildren), volunteering for the Humane Society (have five
dogs!), Council on Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence, Red Cross, and
Beta Sigma Phi.
