2007
- APEX 2007 Awards for Publication Excellence
A panel of accomplished and well-respected judges has awarded the Quotarian
magazine an Award of Excellence in the 2007 APEX Awards for Publication
Excellence competition, marking the fifth year that the Quotarian
has received an award in the Print Four-Color Magazine and Journals
category. In its nineteenth year, the annual competition received nearly
5,000 entries in 2007, each evaluated for excellence in graphic design,

- 2007 Hermes Creative Award
The two most recent editions of the Quotarian magazine
were recognized in the 2007 Hermes Creative Awards program. Named after
the Greek messenger god, the program recognizes accomplishments in concept,
writing, and design of media and is administered by the Association
of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP), an international
organization of communications professionals. The 2006 Quotarian
stood out among 3,500 entries for exceeding high industry norms and
was among just 18 percent of entries receiving Gold Awards, while the
2007 Quotarian was awarded Honorable Mention, a designation

2007
- APEX 2006 Awards for Publication Excellence
The Quotarian magazine has been honored with an Award
of Excellence in the 2006 APEX Awards for Publication Excellence competition.
The annual competition, which recognizes excellence in graphic design,
editorial content, and overall communications, received over 5,000 entries
this year, and its panel of judges includes industry-esteemed editors
and writers. This marks the fourth year that the Quotarian

- MarCom Creative Awards 2006
For the fourth straight year, Quota Internationals Quotarian
magazine has been recognized for quality, creativity, and resourcefulness
in the MarCom Creative Awards competition, receiving a Gold Award for
exceeding high industry standards in the Magazine/Non-Profit category,
one of just 16 percent of the 5,000 entries to receive this honor. MarCom
is one of the largest awards competitions of its kind in the world,
administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication

- 2006 Communicator Award

2006 Quotarian magazine by awarding it the prestigious

2005
- 2005 Communicator Award
Two of Quota's most important and most-read publications were honored
for their outstanding work in the communications field in the international
2005 Communicator Awards competition. For the fourth year, the Quotarian,
which communicates club events, organization highlights, and other club
news, was one of the 19 percent of entries to receive an Award of Distinction
for exceeding high industry standards in the Non-Profit Magazine category.
Quota International's Web site was recognized for the first time, one
of 10 percent of organizations to receive Honorable Mention recognition
in the Overall Site category. Quota's entries were among the 5,078 from
around the world that judges assessed as having high standards of excellence

the Publication Excellence competition, which acknowledges excellence
in design, editorial content, and overall communications. The judging
process is a competitive one, as winners are selected from a pool of

The 2005 MarCom Creative Awards program recognized Quota International's
Quotarian magazine with a Gold Award for exceeding high
industry standards. The 2005 Quotarian magazine's quality,
creativity, and resourcefulness were honored in the Non-Profit Magazine
category. Industry professionals judged this year's 4,613 entries, seeking
work that so greatly exceeded a level of excellence as to set a benchmark
for industry standards. The Quotarian was among the 16

- United Nations Association Awards
The humanitarian efforts of 2005-2006 International President Carolyn
Rice, Quota International, and the We Share Foundation were recently
recognized with an award from the UNA of the National Capital Area.
The award is given to those individuals and organizations that have
made a special contribution to international human rights. Under Carolyn's
leadership, Quota International has expanded to 300 communities, and
its Club-to-Club service work has grown to 14 projects. Carolyn, a member
of Quota International for 17 years, was recognized at a Human Rights
Day Luncheon in Washington, D.C., on December 9. For details, click

2004
- The MarCom Creative Awards 2004, a new international media competition,
recognized Quota International's 2004 Quotarian magazine
by awarding it the prestigious Gold Award as a project that exceeds
marketing and communications industry standards. The organization's
membership Web site, www.quota.org, was honored with the Honorable Mention
Certificate. Entries for these awards came from 3,344 advertising agencies,
corporations, educational institutions, government entities, designers,
writers, video production professionals, broadcast and cable operations,

- The American Society of Association Executives selected Quota International's
Encouraging Leadership Program as the top trophy winner in the Keystone
Awards. Created by Deputy Executive Director Nancy Fitzpatrick as part

2007
- 2007 Associations Advance America Awards
The Associations Advance America Awards recognized the We Share Foundation's
Cops 'n' Kids Literacy Program with an Award of Excellence in 2007.
The national competition recognizes foundations doing superior work
in service, skills training, standards setting, innovation, and education.
Cops 'n' Kids touches upon many of these areas as it connects children
with local police forces through book donations, reading programs, and
other events to foster literacy and positive attitudes toward law enforcement.

- Associations Advance America 2006 Honor Roll
The Associations Advance America Awards recognized the We Share Foundation's
program, "Operation Empowerment: Hurricane Katrina Relief Efforts,"
for its contributions to hurricane relief. The award program recognizes
foundations doing superior work in service, skills training, standards
setting, innovation, and education. The We Share Foundation received
donations from all over the world, totaling over $48,000, to provide
immediate relief through housing, food, and blankets, as well as longer-term
reconstruction of homes, schools, and community centers. For details,

APEX Award in the Web Site category. The judging process is a competitive

- Associations Advance America 2005 Honor Roll
The 2005 Associations Advance America Awards competition honored two
We Share Foundation programs that support Quota International's service
projects across the globe. The awards, given to organizations for innovation,
education, and upholding high industry standards, recognized the We
Share Foundation's excellence in civic and community volunteer activities.
For the second year in a row, the foundation's Volunteers in Action
program received an Award of Excellence for providing volunteers with
the skills and resources necessary to perform service through its Web
site, communications, and other programming. Meanwhile, the World Net
Service program, which coordinates worldwide support for Quota volunteers
in developing countries, was named to the AAA Honor Roll for the first

- The We Share Foundation's new multi-media program received the prestigious
Award of Distinction from the 2002 Communicator's Media Awards, the
first time the Foundation has won in this category. The Award of Distinction
