Laura Lee Lahman
Quota International of
FL, United States
Laura’s vision for Quota is “MORE”—More members and more clubs! The combination of these two goals will unequivocally result in a financially secure and healthy organization. Just as technology has changed and required us to learn new applications and tools for our jobs, so must we step outside our Quota comfort zone by taking thoughtful and constructive risks to grow our organization.
Laura has been a member of Quota for 13 years, holding numerous key positions, and was District 27 Quotarian of the Year in 2002. She co-chartered a new club in less than thirty days and implemented and chaired a District Task Force with diversified participants from every club to re-evaluate some of our processes. Internationally, Laura served as a member of the 2007-2008 International Bylaws Committee, and as South Area director from 2009 to 2010.
Laura is employed by General Electric Aviation Systems, where she is the Manager of Contracts Administration. In 1996, she was awarded Employee of the Year.
Laura has been involved in various professional and civic organizations throughout her life, for which she has received several awards. She also enjoys spending time with family and cultivating her wonderful friendships. Laura also plays the piano for her church during the summer months.
