Quota International of Forster Tuncurry
A fashion Parade with a difference was presented by Forster Tuncurry Quota Club to an enthusiastic audience of over 320 people recently. “From Promenade to Patio” was the theme for the Parade with the original and authentic garments bringing back memories of similar garments in their own wardrobes to those attending. Beautiful garments dating back to the late 1800’s were followed by gowns of the flapper era and the Dior “New Look” before we were reminded of the full skirted dresses of the 60’s complete with rope petticoats. Who could forget the floating patio gowns and the mini shift which were a feature of the 70’s. The Cavalcade of Fashion was the fourth to be brought to Forster by the Quota Club and raised $5092 for Quota charities.
