Quota International of DLF City
Fifty Project Shiksha children, along with three teachers and three volunteers from Quota International of DLF City, had a wonderful day trip this April. The children, teachers, and volunteers visited a beautiful temple called Akshardham, which is a major tourist attraction located near the banks of the Yamuna river. The journey to the temple was a two hour drive, and the children kept everyone entertained by singing and dancing the entire way there. Once at the temple, the children were able to tour the temple, view a show, and take a boat ride. After a long day the children were fed and excitedly chattering about their experience. Surly the happy memories of the trip will stay with the children of Project Shiksha. To read more about Project Shiksha, click here.
