Our Quota Cares Month project
We completed two projects for Quota Cares Month. As a club we collected socks for a local elementary school where the children have either no socks or the ones they have are threadbare. We are a partner with this school and have worked with them in the past to provide both socks and underwear. Our second project was a partnership with Reading Is Fundamental. We were able to have a book distribution for over 300 children in grades K – 2 at another elementary school. Children got to choose a book on their level. RIF provided bookplates and a reduced price on the books. Volunteers and children were both smiling!

How did our QCM project benefit our community?
Although we have not signed her up yet, a prospective member was at our planning session for the book distribution. We think she will join us in April!

How did our QCM project benefit our club / members?
Doing both of these projects benefited our club because it gave us the “hands on” service projects that our club craves. we have found that the volunteers for each project probably get as much as the children we impact!
