Marge Carter has been a member of Quota International of Southeast Texas since 1977. Her commitment to the goals of Quota demonstrates her personal priorities that direct her life.
Marge is willing to accept any request that comes her way. She is first in line to sign up for an upcoming project or fund raiser. She loves to work and thrives on being useful. . Her week begins with a “to do” list. If a day isn\’t filled, she promptly calls family and friends to see if they have plans or perhaps may need her help.
One of her favorite assignments is on the Concerns/Telephone Committee whereby she keeps us advised of our members concerns, and we always appreciate the reminder calls that she provides. Her caring is a true sign of her faith and commitment to serving others. She serves as Vice Regent for The Catholic Daughters of America, and serves her parish as Eucharist Minister. She is a member of the Altar Society and Bereavement Committees and an active participant in all church fund raisers, often found cooking for church events.
Her cooking talents also benefit Quota. Her contributions to covered dish events for Quota are anticipated with joy and she has been known to bake homemade bread for Quota trips.
As a result of her work with Quota, her daughter proudly joined. Joining in that pride are Marge’s fifteen siblings, five children, fourteen grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren with two on the way.
Quota International of Southeast Texas is proud to spotlight Marge Carter. This hard working lady is devoted to Quota and the services it provides to the community. She has been a member for 36 years and “holds high the principles for which Quota stands.”
